The trek begins with a thrilling journey to K2 Base Camp, following the famous Baltoro Glacier. As you walk along the rugged terrain, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of towering peaks like Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, and Gasherbrum II, and feel the grandeur of the Karakoram Range all around you. Reaching K2 Base Camp is a milestone for many trekkers, offering an up-close view of the legendary “Savage Mountain.”
From there, you’ll continue to Khayrut Peak, a relatively accessible climb that rewards you with sweeping panoramas of the surrounding peaks, including K2, Broad Peak, and Sia Kangri. The climb is a technical challenge, but with expert guidance and support, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to reach the summit. The stunning views from Khayrut’s summit will be a highlight of your expedition, offering one of the best vantage points in the Karakoram.
